Famous Laundry Art

 For some additional art enrichment at home, students were challenged to recreate a famous piece of artwork out of LAUNDRY. The results are awesome!

 

Food Portraits Inspired by Arcimboldo

 Students learned a bit about Italian painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo who is well known for using foods as features in his portraits. As you can see, our students had fun with this idea!

More Amazing Student Artists

This week, students were asked to go outside and use their artist's eyes to observe something natural growing in springtime (a leaf emerging, a flower blooming, a nest being built) then draw it.

Toilet Paper Sculptures, Shadow Art, a Color Wheel and Harry Potter Too!

This week, students were challenged to create a sculpture using repurposed toilet paper rolls and egg cartons.

Shadow Drawings

Students began by tracing shadow. THEN they added details to the drawing to turn it into something completely NEW!!
