Food Portraits Inspired by Arcimboldo



 Students learned a bit about Italian painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo who is well known for using foods as features in his portraits. As you can see, our students had fun with this idea!

This week, students were asked to go outside and use their artist's eyes to observe something natural growing in springtime (a leaf emerging, a flower blooming, a nest being built) then draw it.
